The Screen Arts program serves as an ideal launchpad for careers in film, television, and media, blending hands-on production training with creative and critical analysis.
Students concentrate on film/TV production, screenwriting, or screen studies while gaining extensive experience with professional-grade equipment in a stimulating artistic setting. During the second year, learners complete a capstone project and may secure internship opportunities with industry partners to refine their abilities and build their professional portfolios.
This major forms part of the Master of Arts degree - a practice-oriented program designed to equip students for creative careers through its industry-aligned curriculum. The university facilitates campus-based, professional, and community initiatives to enrich postgraduate learning and skill-building. Each student develops a significant creative work under expert faculty guidance, which often becomes a cornerstone piece in their professional portfolio.
Applicants must satisfy the following criteria to qualify for one of our postgraduate coursework programs: Completed a bachelor degree awarded by a recognised tertiary institution. Some postgraduate courses may require a completed bachelor degree in a relevant field.
Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): Grade C; and Pearson Test of English Academic: 60. IELTS Academic (International English Language Testing System): Writing, Speaking, Reading, and Listening: 6.0; Overall band score: 6.5; TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): 79 Overall; Reading 13 Listening 13 Speaking 18 Writing 21.
