Develop comprehensive expertise in logistics management, international distribution, and transportation systems. This program provides foundational insights into logistics principles, examining them as the strategic coordination of product and service flows across both commercial and non-commercial entities.
Participants will investigate core logistics operations such as freight movement, materials and stock control, distribution networks, client support, data systems, and order fulfillment procedures.
The curriculum includes an in-depth analysis of transportation within the logistics framework, covering economic theories of transport. Additional focus areas include materials and inventory control systems, along with the integration of information technology to optimize logistics operations. Successful completion qualifies students for the Master of Commerce (Supply Chain Management) degree.
