As a PhD candidate, you'll explore uncharted territory by discovering new information, creating theoretical frameworks, or offering fresh perspectives on existing data and concepts. Your work will apply deep theoretical understanding to craft tangible solutions for real-world challenges.
Research-based graduate programs stand apart from other postgraduate studies by requiring at least two-thirds of the program to focus on research. While some coursework may be necessary, your primary output will be a thesis developed under expert supervision. This dissertation must represent a significant, original contribution to its field through novel discoveries, theoretical advancements, or innovative reinterpretations. It should also showcase your ability to independently design, execute, and conclude a research project.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants for Doctor of Philosophy must have completed a master by research degree or bachelor degree with first or upper second class honours. Applicants who have only completed a Bachelor pass degree may also be considered if they can demonstrate superior academic achievement, significant research or work experience, and the capacity to undertake significant research.
