As a PhD candidate, you'll explore uncharted territory by discovering new information, creating theoretical frameworks, or offering fresh perspectives on existing data and concepts. Your work will apply deep theoretical understanding to develop practical approaches for addressing real-world challenges.
Research-based graduate programs differ from other postgraduate studies because they require at least two-thirds of the program to focus on research. While some coursework may be necessary, your primary output will be a thesis developed with guidance from academic supervisors. This dissertation must represent a significant, original contribution to its field through novel discoveries, theoretical advancements, or creative reinterpretations of existing knowledge. It should also showcase your ability to independently plan, execute, and conclude research projects.
During your research journey, our academic departments will provide necessary equipment, resources, and financial support for attending relevant conferences both domestically and internationally.
