Building upon your undergraduate science education, this honors program offers advanced study in your chosen specialization – whether applied geology, chemistry, computer science, environmental and agricultural sciences, geographic information systems, mathematics, physics, or geophysics. You'll explore research methodologies while developing critical analysis skills and creative thinking. The program includes a guided research project culminating in an honors thesis.
The Mathematical Sciences Honors Major (BSc) (Honors) provides students with advanced training in contemporary research methods across pure and applied mathematics and statistics. Through specialized coursework and a supervised research project, students demonstrate their mastery by producing an honors dissertation.
