This program equips you for varied career opportunities in the growing field of occupational health and safety. You'll gain expertise in establishing, sustaining, and overseeing workplace safety protocols while building essential professional capabilities in analytical reasoning, research proficiency, and technological applications.

Your initial year features interdisciplinary learning alongside students from other health science disciplines.

During subsequent years, you'll master techniques for risk assessment and hazard control, engage in collaborative decision-making, and implement strategies to enhance workplace wellbeing and prevent occupational injuries and diseases.

The curriculum includes practical components with a 100-hour internship in year two and a 150-hour placement in year three, providing hands-on experience and exposure to actual workplace settings.
