Explore the study of perception, cognition, emotions, personality traits, behaviors, and social interactions, along with how psychologists analyze, interpret, and forecast individual and group actions.
Your initial year involves collaborative learning with students from various health science disciplines. The second year concentrates on foundational concepts in learning processes, motivational factors, sensory perception, childhood development, and social psychology principles.
During your third year, you'll gain deeper understanding of psychological disorders, lifespan development, community psychology approaches, cognitive functions, cultural psychology perspectives, Indigenous psychological frameworks, and personality variations. You'll also draft a research proposal.
Your final year involves executing an extensive research study while honing expertise in program assessment techniques, psychological evaluation methods, and counseling practices. Please note: admission to the fourth year requires maintaining a credit average or above in your second- and third-year core psychology courses. Students not meeting this standard will receive the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree after completing third year.
