It aims to enhance your business acumen, providing additional expertise to launch your engineering career after graduation. Your first year includes the Engineering Foundation Year (EFY), created in collaboration with industry leaders to establish core engineering principles aligned with modern practices.
This combined degree equips you with commercial knowledge and practical skills, opening doors to varied career opportunities. You'll begin with six foundational business units (accounting, economics, information systems, business law, management, and marketing) to explore different business domains before specializing.
You'll hone communication abilities and essential professional competencies valued by employers. Opportunities may include career counseling and international study. A distinctive feature is the final-year Business capstone unit, where you'll manage a simulated multimillion-dollar enterprise, applying your expertise to create real-world deliverables while solidifying your learning.
Finance and banking specialists leverage analytical expertise to assist clients with financial strategies, business launches, or expansions. Career paths include corporate finance, financial markets, investment funds, or private wealth management. The Finance major provides comprehensive knowledge of financial market structures and operations. You'll study investment analysis, funding decisions, and profit distribution, along with financial market dynamics. This major prepares you for the prestigious CFA exams, covering over 70% of the CFA Program's core curriculum.
