The Engineering-Commerce combined degree is an extended, optional pathway for engineering students. This program enhances your business acumen, providing additional expertise to launch your engineering career after graduation. Your first year includes the Engineering Foundation Year (EFY), created in collaboration with industry professionals to establish core engineering principles and modern practices.
This dual degree equips you with commercial knowledge and practical business abilities, preparing you for varied career opportunities. You'll begin with six foundational business units (accounting, economics, information systems, business law, management, and marketing) before specializing in your chosen business field.
You'll hone communication abilities and essential professional competencies valued by employers. The program may include career counseling and international study options. A distinctive feature is the final-year Business capstone project, where you'll manage a simulated multi-million dollar enterprise, applying your skills to create real-world business solutions.
Within this general track, you'll investigate chemical engineering methods across various materials. The curriculum covers fluid dynamics, energy transfer, separation techniques, and chemical reactions for designing, controlling, and optimizing industrial chemical processes.
