This course will equip you with expertise across multiple communication disciplines such as journalism, digital media, screen production, public relations, marketing, and graphic design. You'll explore subjects in media, design, and business, building a solid foundation in media and corporate communications while having the flexibility to specialize in two chosen fields. Additionally, you'll enhance your critical thinking and hands-on abilities by using professional-grade equipment to create content for print, radio, film, television, and digital platforms. During your first year, you'll be introduced to various communication sectors and take elective units that align with or deepen your focus in specific areas. In your second and third years, you'll select two specializations: one in media and another in design or business, or two in media. This program prepares you for the industry by developing skills and knowledge in both traditional and emerging media and communication roles. You'll utilize industry-standard equipment to produce content and graduate with job-ready capabilities. You'll compile a portfolio of your work and have chances to network with industry experts. Modern marketing requires analyzing market trends and creatively using various platforms to connect with potential customers. This specialization will introduce you to fundamental marketing concepts, including consumer behavior and how marketers must tailor their strategies to different audiences. You'll acquire the skills to develop, organize, and execute marketing initiatives in a competitive and dynamic setting.
