Starting January 1, 2019, all aspiring financial planners must complete a FASEA-accredited degree (Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority). Curtin's combined Finance and Financial Planning program, which thoroughly covers FASEA's core competencies, was among Australia's first to receive this accreditation.
The program culminates with a distinctive 120-hour professional internship, where students gain practical experience with a member firm of Western Australia's Financial Planning Association.
