The Master of Professional Accounting Advanced (MPAA) is a two-year full-time program (or part-time equivalent for domestic students) that builds upon the MPA foundation. Developed in partnership with industry leaders, it empowers students to cultivate distinctive, future-ready capabilities, obtain practical experience, and enhance their ability to tackle intricate accounting challenges, collaborate effectively, and boost organizational success.
Successful completion of a non-accounting undergraduate degree (AQF Level 7) in any discipline from an Australian university or AQF equivalent from an overseas institution delivered in English with a grade point average in a undergraduate program of at least 2.4, where the range is four, and an equivalent proportion for other ranges.
International students must meet the conditions above.
In addition, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate competency in the English language. English proficiency can be demonstrated by providing proof of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall test result (or equivalent alternative test result as defined by regulation) that meets the specified level of English proficiency specified for the course: IELTS, a minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.0, TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT), a minimum overall score of 79 with a minimum writing score of 21. Pearson PTE Academic, a minimum overall score of 58 with no score lower than 50, or recognised equivalency.
