The Master of Information Technology is a two-year full-time program (with part-time options available for domestic students) that provides comprehensive training in essential IT theories and practices for professional application in evolving business environments.
Graduates of this program can pursue diverse career opportunities in both private and public sectors, including roles such as Secure Software Evaluator, Application Programmer, Systems Requirements Coordinator, Software Testing Expert, Information Security Developer, Systems Architect, IT Support Engineer, Security Systems Analyst, Cybersecurity Analyst, and Incident Response Specialist.
Successful completion of an Australian recognised AQF7 qualification or overseas equivalence that had been delivered in English, with a grade point average in an undergraduate program of at least 2.4, where the range is four, and an equivalent proportion for other ranges.
International students must meet the conditions above.
In addition, international students whose first language is not English must demonstrate competency in the English language. English proficiency can be demonstrated by providing proof of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall test result (or equivalent alternative test result as defined by regulation) that meets the specified level of English proficiency specified for the course: IELTS 6.5 with no individual band below 6.0.
