The Master of Professional Information Technology program equips students with both theoretical foundations and practical technical abilities, combined with essential communication competencies for a successful IT career. Participants will develop crucial research capabilities and analytical problem-solving techniques. The curriculum offers specialization options including networking, data science, AI, software engineering, or cybersecurity. Additionally, students undertake work-integrated learning modules that conclude with an industry placement experience.
To be eligible for admission to this course applicants must meet the minimum entry criteria listed below:
Applicants without an equivalent tertiary qualification will be admitted via Graduate Diploma in Professional Information Technology pathway. For admission to the Graduate Diploma, applicants are required to have a minimum of a 3 years tertiary qualification equivalent to an Associate Degree. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Diploma, students will then be eligible for admission to the Master of Professional Information Technology and receive credit for applicable subjects.
