The Master of Health Research program provides comprehensive training in health research methodologies, preparing you to design and execute significant research initiatives. A distinctive aspect of this program involves instruction from renowned experts at the Menzies School of Health Research, with specialized guidance in Indigenous health, public health, and global health.
You'll develop both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in: epidemiological studies; biostatistical analysis; and both quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Successful graduates may qualify for advanced research training (PhD) upon approval.
Graduates can pursue careers in health research institutions or professional public health organizations.
Duration: 18 months full-time study
Successful completion of one of the following:
a recognised bachelor degree or a graduate diploma or masters degree in a related area; or
a recognised bachelor degree plus an honours degree or a graduate diploma or masters degree in a non-related area.
