The Bachelor of Humanitarian Aid and Development is a multidisciplinary program designed to help you comprehend, evaluate, and implement principles of community development, humanitarian work, and aid initiatives.
Throughout this program, you'll examine concepts across diverse areas such as cultural studies, sociology, ethics, Indigenous wisdom, community building, global humanitarian aid and development, project coordination, and language learning. You'll be taught by both scholars and experienced professionals specializing in domestic and international community service, emergency response, and development projects.
The curriculum includes a concentrated two-week module that equips you with essential competencies for humanitarian operations.
Admission requirements are met by one of the following:
Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent) and the awarding of an Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of at least 60.
Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate IV level or higher.
Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
