The Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Teaching is a forward-thinking program designed to equip you for roles as both an early childhood educator and primary school teacher, offering diverse career opportunities.
Throughout the program, you'll examine shared and distinct principles, challenges, and methodologies in early childhood education (including preschool environments) and primary education.
Key areas of study include:
play-based learning and educational sciences
language development and literacy instruction
teacher preparation
Program length - 4 years full-time
Successful completion of the Northern Territory Certificate of Education and Training (or equivalent).
Successful completion of a national qualification at Certificate III level or higher.
Successful completion of at least 0.5 year of full-time study (or equivalent) of a higher education degree/diploma.
Overseas secondary or tertiary qualifications considered equivalent to the above Australian qualifications.
