The Bachelor of Biomedical Science is a dynamic undergraduate program that equips you with essential knowledge, practical skills, and real-world experience for diverse biomedical careers. You'll have the opportunity to specialize in fields like medical science, microbiology, healthcare, or nutrition, tailoring your studies to match your passions. Over three years of full-time study (or part-time equivalent), you'll build expertise through hands-on laboratory work in chemistry, anatomy, physiology, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, pathophysiology, and molecular biology. This comprehensive training gives you deep insight into both healthy and diseased bodily systems at cellular and molecular levels. The program also broadens your perspective with studies in Indigenous, rural, and remote health, helping you analyze health challenges through global, regional, and social lenses. Additionally, you'll pursue in-depth coursework in your selected specialization area.
