For those who hold a degree in another discipline but want to shift their career toward psychology, the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) could be an ideal choice. This program facilitates either advanced academic progression or entry into various professional sectors.
Designed to provide a thorough introduction to psychological science and its practical uses, this course meets the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council's (APAC) foundational standards for three-year psychology degrees. Students will grasp core psychological principles, theories, and concepts while learning about key research domains. The curriculum covers essential research methodologies and statistical analysis techniques. Practical applications and professional psychology practices are also explored throughout the program.
A bachelor degree in any discipline from an Australian university or equivalent.
English requirements
An International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic) overall band score of at least 6.0 with a minimum 5.5 in each subset; or
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - Requires 550 or better overall and minimum TWE score of 4.5 (Paper Based Test), or 75 or better overall and no score less than 17 (Internet Based Test); or
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) - Requires an overall score of 54 with no sub-score less than 46; or
An Occupational English Test with Grades A or B only in each of the four components.
