From initial concept development to honing illustration abilities, you'll explore textiles, hues, materials, pattern drafting, and clothing assembly as you transform basic components into distinctive final pieces.
The curriculum covers the evolution of fashion, societal perceptions of style, and historical movements that shape today's industry.
We'll enhance your ability to articulate creative concepts while providing training in financial, retail, and promotional aspects (encompassing digital strategies and event coordination).
You'll utilize professional-grade digital tools like 3D modeling software, computer-aided design applications, Adobe suites, and WGSN forecasting platforms, applying your knowledge during hands-on work placements with leading Australian fashion enterprises.
International students must have completed an Australian Year 12 or international equivalent with a pass.
Folio requirements: applicants are required to present a portfolio with at least 8 images. Applicants can present a folio that demonstrates creativity, artwork, fashion illustrations and concept development.
Applicants are expected to demonstrate a clear understanding and aptitude for the course.
