The Master of Valuation and Property Development (Professional) offers comprehensive training for navigating international real estate markets. This course prepares graduates with in-depth expertise and specialized competencies for diverse professional avenues including real estate appraisal, investment, financial services, portfolio oversight, and market research. The syllabus covers essential areas such as financial planning and tax strategies, organizational asset management, risk assessment and mitigation, viability studies, legal frameworks, real estate appraisal techniques, and market evaluation. Students can focus their studies on Property Valuation. As part of this program, the Professional Portfolio component is a 20-week, 45-credit course that emphasizes hands-on learning, enabling participants to refine their professional abilities in practical settings. This module blends self-assessment and reflective practices with industry-standard approaches to enhance analytical and strategic competencies. Participants will gain real-world exposure in fields aligned with their specialization. Requirements include producing a 2,000-word project outline, followed by either a 210-hour Australian internship (with employer evaluation) accompanied by a reflective log (maximum 5,000 words), or a group research assignment totaling 15,000 words. Each student will compile a final professional portfolio showcasing their applied knowledge and academic proficiency in their selected field.
Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field (Note - This program is not available to graduates of Bond's Bachelor of Property, students may consider either the Master of City Planning or the Master of Project Management as an alternative.)
English language proficiency requirements:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic Overall score 6.5 with no sub score less than 6.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT): Overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening)
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score 58 with no Communicative Scores below 50
