The Master of Psychology (Clinical) Degree aims to deliver comprehensive training in professional psychology practice. Grounded in the scientist-practitioner approach, this program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical competencies needed for registration as practicing psychologists, particularly specializing in Clinical Psychology. Incorporating diverse theoretical frameworks supported by current research, the coursework combines academic study, research projects, and supervised clinical placements. Qualification Requirements

Students who have obtained their qualifications outside Australia must have their qualifications assessed prior to applying for this program and prior to applying for registration with AHPRA. The Australian Psychological Society (APS) provides this assessment service for the Board and the assessment assists the Board in determining if the student’s qualifications are equivalent to an ‘approved qualification’. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year sequence of study in Psychology (e.g., Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours); Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science or equivalent) within the last ten years, and have achieved a minimum of H2A (Upper Second Class Honours), or 75% and above for consideration. Applicants are assessed on academic performance, 2 referee reports and personal suitability via interview and psychometric testing. Applications are also accepted into the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program at Bond University from board registered Psychologists who have successfully completed the Master of Professional Psychology program or a Level 3 accredited APAC psychology program with a Distinction GPA level. Applicants will submit the same documents as outlined above.
