Recognized by the Actuaries Institute, the Master of Actuarial Practice offers a cutting-edge curriculum blending sophisticated mathematics, statistical methods, data science, actuarial risk principles, financial studies, economic theory, and accounting practices with hands-on analysis of extensive real-world business data. This program cultivates risk management strategies and business decision-making approaches. A key component involves honing research capabilities and actuarial judgment through specialized Actuarial Control Cycle courses and a dedicated Actuarial Research Thesis project.
This Master's program features intimate class sizes for tailored instruction and exclusive access to Bond University's Fin Tech Hub and Bloomberg terminal resources. Students will master techniques for processing complex datasets to develop actionable insights for contemporary business challenges. Graduates who achieve the required performance standards will earn Part I and Part II accreditation from the Actuaries Institute.
Successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree (or equivalent qualification) in any field.
English language proficiency requirements:
International English Language Testing System (IELTS): Academic Overall score 6.5 with no sub score less than 6.0
Test of English as a Foreign Language Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT): Overall score 79 (no scores below 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, and 16 in Reading and Listening)
