Queensland's Gold Coast stands as the premier destination for film and television education. The area boasts Village Roadshow Studios, the largest production facility in the southern hemisphere, serving as a major filming location for blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean, San Andreas, The Chronicles of Narnia, Thor, and Aquaman.
This specialized three-year program leverages Bond University's extensive industry relationships to offer practical experience through real-world projects. Students earn professional credits while networking on actual film sets, television productions, and broadcast events, learning from accomplished producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, and showrunners with global experience.
Students enjoy exclusive access to cutting-edge multimedia technology and creative industry resources. The program provides over 40 editing workstations featuring Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro, along with Pro-Tools 5.1 HD mixing suites and a fully operational three-camera digital TV studio. Additionally, Bond's equipment lending service allows students to utilize professional-grade lighting, cameras, and audio gear for their personal film projects throughout their studies.
