Bond's accelerated trimester schedule simplifies pursuing a dual degree. Remarkably, you can earn two qualifications here faster than completing a single degree at most institutions. Students completing Bond's combined Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and Doctor of Physiotherapy can qualify for Australian physiotherapy registration in merely four years.
The Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science curriculum provides comprehensive knowledge of health and human movement, establishing an excellent base for the Doctor of Physiotherapy program. Bond's Doctor of Physiotherapy stands out for its distinctive combination of scientific problem-solving, hands-on training, and more clinical experience than any Australian physiotherapy program.
Engage in extensive clinical learning through mandatory placements and optional internships across diverse healthcare environments. These experiences span all age groups (children, adults, seniors) and specialty areas including orthopedics, neurology, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and chronic disease management. Most instruction occurs at Bond's state-of-the-art Health and Sport Institute, featuring cutting-edge diagnostic technology.
