For countless individuals across the globe, the possibility or actual occurrence of violent confrontation is an ever-present concern. The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies program provides learners with comprehensive understanding and practical competencies to analyze the essence of peace and discord, examine the roots and impacts of aggression, and explore various approaches that national and global institutions employ to address these issues. This curriculum integrates perspectives from multiple disciplines, highlighting how varying interpretations of peace and conflict shape our perceptions, responses, and evaluations of outcomes. While focusing primarily on the Asia Pacific region yet maintaining an international perspective, this degree prepares graduates for careers across diverse sectors including private enterprises, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies. The Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (Advanced) additionally offers students the opportunity to conduct significant independent research, supported by proper methodological training, to cultivate specialized knowledge in specific aspects of Peace and Conflict Studies.
