The preservation and stewardship of cultural and natural landscapes represents an expanding professional field. Our program focuses on real-world applications while examining heritage policies, conservation practices, and management strategies through a critical lens.

Our faculty includes internationally recognized experts who edit premier academic publications and pioneer Critical Heritage Studies. The curriculum addresses contemporary challenges like inclusive practices, community partnerships, living traditions, cultural tourism, Indigenous perspectives, digital preservation, and diverse cultural expressions. Through our dynamic internship opportunities, you'll gain firsthand experience with innovative heritage practices.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must present one of the following A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5 or 7. A Bachelor degree or international equivalent AND a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a cognate discipline with a minimum GPA of 4 or 7. A Bachelor degree or international equivalent with GPA 47 AND a minimum of 3 years fulltime equivalent work experience at ANZSCO Skill Level 1 in a field related to the program. The GPA for a Bachelor program will be calculated from i a completed Bachelor degree using all grades and or ii a completed Bachelor degree using all grades other than those from the last semester or equivalent study period of the Bachelor degree The higher of the two calculations will be used as the basis for admission. IELTS - Overall score - 6.5, Reading - 6.0, Writing - 6.0, Listening - 6.0, Speaking - 6.0. TOEFL IBT Paper Edition - Overall score - 80, Reading - 20, Writing - 20, Listening - 18, Speaking - 18.
