The Master of Computing is a two-year full-time program (or part-time equivalent) designed for two groups: non-computing graduates seeking foundational computing knowledge, and computing/IT graduates aiming to expand or update their expertise. This Australian Computer Society-accredited program offers professional recognition.
Graduates will gain comprehensive expertise in professional software development and computing methodologies. The curriculum features advanced courses, allowing students to specialize in artificial intelligence, human-centered design and software development, or data science based on their interests. The program concludes with a capstone experience - either collaborative industry projects, research initiatives, or startup engagements, or an individual research project under academic supervision.
Career Prospects
With computing roles among the fastest-growing professions today, graduates face excellent employment prospects. This qualification opens doors to corporate opportunities while also serving as a stepping stone for academic advancement.
