The Performance Honours Specialisation provides advanced training for professional careers or research degrees by cultivating expertise in performance theory, research methodologies, and principles. Students will design and execute a research initiative culminating in a portfolio (including written and/or audiovisual components) accompanied by a scholarly exegesis. This work will generate novel insights or address complex challenges in the field.

Qualification Requirements

An AQF Level 7 Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent completed within the last two years
With a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent calculated from the 36 units ie 0.75 EFTSL of courses in the discipline cognate to the honours specialisation excluding 1000 - level courses ie introductory undergraduate courses with the highest marks
And the satisfaction of any further requirements specified in the relevant honours specialization.
