The Honors Specialization in Composition for Film and Video Games provides advanced training for professional careers or postgraduate research. You'll gain in-depth knowledge of research methodologies and theoretical frameworks in film and game scoring, while completing a research project. This culminates in a portfolio of compositions (in written and/or audiovisual formats) accompanied by an analytical exegesis, contributing novel insights or solving complex creative challenges in the field.

With a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent calculated from the 36 units ie 0.75 EFTSL of courses in the discipline cognate to the honours specialisation excluding 1000-level courses ie introductory undergraduate courses with the highest marks
And the satisfaction of any further requirements specified in the relevant honours specialization.
