The Bachelor of Music Honours program focuses on music—whether performance, composition, music technology, or musicology—as an inquiry-driven practice that investigates fundamental questions about human identity and existence. At its heart lies a major original research project, expressed through performance, composition, or a 20,000-word thesis. Performances or compositions are accompanied by a 5,000-word exegesis that analyzes the creative work as research and articulates its scholarly contribution.
