Through examining varied instrumental and vocal works using multiple analytical approaches, students build a strong creative foundation. The program explores sound design concepts applied to media like films, television, theater productions, video games, and audio installations. By studying scoring techniques, orchestration methods, and arrangement principles across different historical eras and musical styles, students learn to contextualize their innovative work within established traditions.
