The ANU Physics Honours program offers high-achieving students the chance to conduct significant original research while completing advanced Physics coursework. Students can pursue research projects in any relevant field within the University, with individual supervision from academic staff, often as part of a larger research team or Department. An AQF Level 7 Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences degree or equivalent completed within the last two years.
with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent calculated from the 36 units ie 0.75 EFTSL of mathematics courses excluding 1000-level courses ie introductory undergraduate courses with the highest marks.
Completion of at least eight 2000 and 3000-level courses in the subject area mathematics with at least four 3000-level courses or equivalent.
With the written approval of an identified supervisor for the research project.
