The Honors in Information Technology program, provided by the Research School of Computer Science, gives top-performing undergraduates a rigorous yet fulfilling year of advanced computer science education. We look for exceptional students eager to conduct independent research under faculty supervision, preparing them for dynamic careers in computing or advanced academic pursuits. Alternatively, students can complete their honors year in Computer Science through ANU's Bachelor of Science honors program.

Qualification Requirements

An AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree or equivalent completed within the last two years in a cognate discipline and with a weighted average mark equivalent to an ANU 70 per cent calculated from the 36 units ie 0.75 EFTSL of courses in cognate disciplines excluding 1000-level courses ie introductory undergraduate courses with the highest marks.

IELTS - Overall score - 6.5, Reading - 6.0, Writing - 6.0, Listening - 6.0, Speaking - 6.0.
TOEFL IBT - Overall score - 80, Reading - 20, Writing - 20, Listening - 18, Speaking - 18.
