The Bachelor of Environment and Sustainability (Honours) program expands upon the foundational degree by incorporating an Environment Honours specialization, showcasing ANU's global leadership in environmental research. Students will create and execute an original research project addressing key environmental and sustainability challenges, equipping them for professional careers or advanced academic pursuits. This experience fosters deep expertise in research methodologies, theoretical frameworks, and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex issues. Participants will cultivate employer-sought competencies such as comprehensive analysis and data-driven decision-making.
Learning Outcomes
Conduct independent, in-depth research on selected environmental and sustainability topics to produce novel insights.
Critically assess theoretical frameworks, align them with appropriate research methods, and derive meaningful, evidence-based conclusions.
