The French Language and Culture program is designed to enhance students' proficiency in comprehending, articulating, and conversing in standard French, while also building skills in reading and writing French across various media formats including newspapers, magazines, films, and literature. Each course highlights the significance of cultural, historical, political, and social aspects, utilizing diverse resources from written texts to digital and audiovisual materials. Participants achieve fluency in French while expanding their understanding of Francophone communities worldwide, encompassing both European and international settings (such as Africa, Asia, North America, and the Pacific). Initial placement is determined by students' existing French proficiency, with the course sequence tailored accordingly.
