The Master of Business Information Systems (Cyber Security) provides students with cutting-edge technical abilities and specialized knowledge to tackle modern cybersecurity challenges in our digital era. As businesses depend more heavily on digital platforms for operations and communications, protecting systems and networks becomes essential. This program merges business information systems fundamentals with hands-on cybersecurity approaches, training students to detect, assess, and mitigate cyber risks efficiently. Following the Cyber Security Body of Knowledge (CYBOK) framework, it explores eight core domains encompassing human factors, organizational issues, regulatory compliance, offensive tactics, and defensive measures, delivering comprehensive expertise in this fast-evolving discipline.
International students must provide evidence of one of the following to demonstrate they have successfully met the educational entry requirements:
Master degree courses: A completed Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) or higher in any discipline from an Australian university or college or international equivalent.
