The Australian Institute of Higher Education (AIH) offers a Graduate Diploma of Project Management, which serves as both an exit qualification and a stepping stone to the Master of Project Management program. This course aligns with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework, preparing students for paraprofessional and leadership positions by developing essential project management competencies for business environments and advanced academic pursuits.Core components focus on business and leadership fundamentals, covering areas like agile leadership, communication strategies, and managing organizational change—all reflecting AIH's Graduate Attributes. Specialized units delve deeper into project management methodologies, organizational dynamics, practical tools, contract administration, and ethical considerations.A key feature is the hands-on minor industry project, offering real-world application through simulated workplace scenarios. This capstone unit challenges students to demonstrate their skills by conceptualizing and executing a project, reinforcing project-integrated learning.
