The Associate Degree in Business (Management) is integrated within the Bachelor of Business (Management) program and serves as an exit qualification. It equips students with the competencies required for paraprofessional positions in management and office administration across various industries, as well as for continued education at the bachelor's level. The curriculum offers a comprehensive general education that emphasizes the development of knowledge and abilities in business administration and management. Students must complete nine core subjects: Academic Skills for Success; Marketing Foundations; Business Communication and Stakeholder Management; Accounting for Managers; Principles of Management and Organisations; Foundations of Information Technology; Business and Corporations Law; Statistical Data Analysis for Business; and Leadership and Evidence-based Business Decision Making. These foundational courses are supplemented by seven specialized management units that integrate the subfields of people and organizations, global business, and data analysis. Certain advanced units cover broad topics such as operations, legal matters, and leadership, while others adopt a thematic approach, addressing subjects like globalization and human resource management.
