This course adopts a 'great books' methodology, offering a transnational, interdisciplinary exploration of the literary, musical, philosophical, and artistic masterpieces that form the Western canon.

Through small seminar groups led by expert faculty, you'll engage with seminal historical texts, philosophical works, literature, and art that have shaped Western thought.

Generous funding from the ACU-Ramsay Centre Philanthropic Agreement provides up to ten annual scholarships (worth $48,000 total, or $32,000 per year for 1.5 years of full-time study). A joint selection committee will award these scholarships to qualified candidates.
