Tailored for graduates who have finished a Masters by coursework or an Honours Bachelor degree, our Master of Philosophy is entirely research-based and spans two years of full-time study. With mentorship from an experienced research supervisor, you'll design, plan, and execute your own independent research project on a topic that inspires you. You'll also enjoy the freedom to explore a subject aligned with your personal interests and professional field. This program is self-guided, with no mandatory classes or coursework. Instead, you'll meet progress milestones to ensure steady advancement toward completing your thesis or creative output. Your journey will culminate in producing a substantial thesis or creative work with an accompanying exegesis, followed by an oral defense before an examination panel. We recognize that juggling studies with work, family, and other responsibilities can be demanding. That's why our Master of Philosophy offers adaptable study options, allowing you to choose between full-time or part-time enrollment to fit your lifestyle. Develop essential research skills, sharpen your analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, and prepare for careers requiring advanced research training through this program.
