The Master of Philosophy program spans two years for full-time students or equivalent duration for part-time study. This degree primarily focuses on equipping students with advanced research methodologies and analytical skills, while fostering critical assessment of scholarly literature and findings within their chosen discipline. Although coursework may form a substantial part of the curriculum, the program emphasizes research training. Graduates of the Master of Philosophy are ideally prepared to advance to doctoral-level independent research.
To meet the minimum academic standing required for admission to a Master of Philosophy degree you’ll need to have completed: a relevant University of Adelaide bachelor degree (or equivalent), with a minimum distinction average.
