We strongly recommend graduates consider an honours year for various compelling reasons. You may wish to establish the groundwork for future postgraduate studies. Maybe you're driven to explore unanswered questions in music theory that others haven't addressed. Alternatively, you might be aiming to develop superior communication abilities and specialized knowledge to stand out in today's competitive employment landscape.
Honours admission is competitive, and the academic rigor is intense. We advise consulting with the Honours Convenor about your qualifications before submitting an application to the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics.
Participate in intensive advanced coursework through regular classes.

Develop an in-depth research project (thesis) on a subject of your choice.
