The Bachelor of Information Technology (Software Development) equips you with specialized skills in building software applications, setting you up for a successful career in this rapidly growing ICT field. As a graduate proficient in coding, you'll be prepared for various programming positions in IT firms, freelance work, and technology departments across both public and private organizations.

Throughout the program, you'll master multiple programming languages like Java, C, Python, SQL, and ASP.Net while gaining hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing software solutions. The curriculum covers essential development methodologies including Agile and SCRUM frameworks that are widely used in the industry.

With accreditation from the Australian Computer Society, this program offers a contemporary, practice-oriented education featuring numerous opportunities to apply classroom knowledge in real-world scenarios, ensuring you graduate industry-ready.

Benefit from a shared first-year curriculum with most IT degrees, allowing flexible specialization changes while maintaining credit for completed courses. This structure means you can adjust your focus after first year without extending your 3 or 4-year full-time study duration (depending on program length). Begin your studies now and finalize your specialization later.

This program's on-campus delivery is based at Mawson Lakes, just 20 minutes from the city center with convenient parking options. The campus is well-connected via public transport, with Mawson Lakes train station within walking distance.
