Similar to the standard Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Science, this honours pathway readies you to lead and innovate in food science. Across the initial three years, you'll:
address worldwide challenges such as food security and public health to sustainably nourish future populations
study complete food systems from production to consumption
complete 120 hours of practical placement within food, nutrition, or health organizations
master techniques for creating, formulating, manufacturing, packaging, and promoting food products
acquire expertise in modifying foods to address nutrition-related health concerns
conduct laboratory experiments analyzing chemical properties and flavor profiles
investigate methods for producing eco-friendly, nutritious, safe, and health-promoting food sources.
