As human populations grow and our need for natural resources intensifies, environmental engineers lead the way in creating sustainable solutions for modern living. These professionals address climate challenges, drive the shift to renewable energy, safeguard water resources, defend communities against environmental threats, and innovate waste-reducing product designs.
Our Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)(Environmental and Climate Solutions) program will push and support you through collaborative learning. You will:
acquire expertise to address climate issues and other critical environmental concerns involving water, energy, food systems, pollution, waste management, and natural disasters
understand the relationships between infrastructure, ecosystems, communities, and economies across both developed and developing nations
collaborate with internationally recognized faculty who are leaders in their disciplines
implement your learning through practical projects addressing actual industry challenges
gain hands-on experience through an eight-week placement and participate in field excursions.
Program Length
4 years full-time
Successful completion of an Australian year 12 qualification with a minimum pass in an accepted English language subject.
English Language Requirements
IELTS: Overall 6.5 (Reading 6, Listening 6, Speaking 6, Writing 6); TOEFL: Internet-based: Total score of 79 with a minimum of 21 in Writing, 18 in Speaking and 13 in Reading and Listening; TOEFL Paper-based: Total score of 577 with a minimum of 4.5 in the Test of Written English (TWE); Pearsons: Overall 58 (Reading 50, Listening 50, Speaking 50, Writing 50); Cambridge: Overall 176 (Reading 169, Listening 169, Speaking 169, Writing 169).
