Occasionally, the most insignificant details create the most profound effects. A microscopic organism, undetectable without magnification, can trigger a pathogen leading to worldwide epidemics.
Our Biomedical and Health Sciences degree with a Microbiology and Immunology specialization brings you into the microscopic realm – studying cellular structures and microorganisms along with their extensive influence on people and populations. Examine how our immune systems react to pathogens like bacteria, viruses, and parasites. Understand the processes behind creating vaccines and antibiotics to prevent, manage, and cure illnesses.
Additionally, you'll develop thorough knowledge of biomedical science and healthcare, studying human physiology in both healthy and diseased states. Complete your studies prepared to tackle expected staffing gaps in healthcare while positioned at the cutting edge of scientific breakthroughs.
